Show Review: Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2013

Louis Vuitton is still very much into ’60s fashion. While the fashion house’s Spring 2013 collection was light and airy, the Pre-Fall 2013 collection is decidedly darker and much stronger. Inspired by the 1968 French revenge film The Bride Wore Black, the designs have a highly seductive quality: far from the cutesy, coquettish vibe of the brand’s last offerings. Lace, leather, and fur are in abundance, adding some flair and luxury to the creations’ functional silhouettes.
